Introducing FootGolf at Beech Woods Golf Course!
FootGolf has arrived in Southfield!! Beech Woods Golf Course is now one of only 24 courses in Michigan certified by the American FootGolf League to offer this exciting new sport. There are over 400 courses in 48 states that offer FootGolf and Beech Woods is proud to be one of them!
What is FootGolf? It is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. The game is played with a regulation #5 soccer ball at a golf course facility on shortened holes with 21-inch diameter cups. The rules largely correspond to the rules of golf. You can find more information on FootGolf at www.afgl.us
FootGolf players and traditional golfers will “share” much of the course, with cups placed far enough away from each other that both sports can play the course at the same time.
Evergreen Hills Golf Course
Evergreen Hills Golf Course, located at the Southfield Municipal Complex at 26000 Evergreen Road, is a 2,904 yard, par 34 course with beautifully landscaped greens. A pro shop featuring supplies for every golfer is also located on site. Clubs, pull carts and power carts are also available for rent through the pro shop. Please contact the Evergreen Hills Golf Course at (248) 796-4666.
