Freeway Park Construction

Freeway Park Play Area Closed for Construction

Please note that demolition of the Freeway Park play area has begun. The Freeway Park play area is closed to the public during the construction process. We will update you as this project progresses.

Freeway Park is the second of 3 total parks that are receiving new play equipment. Work at the Civic Center Park play area is wrapping up, but the area remains closed as workers are still present. Please call Parks Services at (248) 796-4630 with any questions about this project.

Civic Center Park Playlot Closed

Work on the Civic Center Park playlot has resumed following the holiday break. The play area remains closed during construction.

Civic Center Park isn’t our only park getting a new playlot. The playlots at Bedford Woods and Freeway parks are both scheduled for replacement as well. If you have any questions about this project, please call (248) 796-4630
