The Southfield Cemetery is a peaceful and historic community cemetery located on Civic Center Drive between Lahser and Berg roads. Maintained by the City of Southfield Parks & Recreation Department, the cemetery serves as the final resting place for generations of Southfield residents, with graves dating back to the 1830s.

Grave sites are available for purchase by the public at moderate rates. The cemetery grounds are carefully maintained year-round and provide a quiet setting for remembrance and reflection.

All burials must be scheduled through Park Services at least 48 hours in advance. Burials are conducted Monday through Friday only. The Park Services office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is closed on weekends.
