Spend your summer evenings enjoying free live music outdoors during Southfield Parks & Recreationâs Summer in the City Concert Series on the Southfield Municipal Campus Front Lawn.
This yearâs lineup features a variety of crowd-pleasing performances ranging from blues and Motown favorites to pop, rock and dance hits. Food trucks will also be on site during each concert.
Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

Youth Basketball Camp at Beech Woods Recreation Center
Looking for a summer camp that combines basketball skill development, teamwork, and fun?
Southfield Parks & Recreation and the Reggie McKenzie Foundation are partnering to offer Youth Basketball Camp for ages 7-18 at Beech Woods Recreation Center. Campers will improve their game through daily drills, 5-on-5 play, and instruction designed to build confidence and leadership both on and off the court.

Get outside and explore Southfield with our June Park Adventures series! These guided morning walks are a great way to enjoy local parks, discover hidden gems, and connect with the community. Walks begin at 9 AM and are open to all.
