Community Pride Awards

The City of Southfield Community Pride Awards recognize residents and organizations that go above and beyond in their beautification efforts. The program features several nomination categories, including residential homes, condominiums, apartments, small and large businesses, churches, neighborhood entranceways, entire neighborhoods, and well maintained properties.

In person judging returns this year, with a team of Master Gardeners visiting all nominated properties in mid July to select the winners. Honorees will be recognized by the Mayor and City Council at an awards ceremony in September.

The program is coordinated by the City’s Community Relations Department in partnership with the Southfield Parks and Garden Club and the City’s Total Living Commission to promote beautification efforts throughout the community. Residents are encouraged to nominate homeowners, neighborhoods, condominiums, apartments, businesses and even themselves. Public buildings such as churches and synagogues are also eligible and encouraged for nomination.

Nomination forms are available at the City’s Neighborhood & Information Center located inside City Hall at 26000 Evergreen Road, or they may be downloaded from the City of Southfield website. Nominations may also be submitted online using the link below. The condition of the entire property will be considered for judging, and all nominations must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Completed nominations may be emailed to communityrelations@cityofsouthfield.com or mailed to City of Southfield, Attn: Community Relations, 26000 Evergreen Road, P.O.
