Trees between the sidewalk and the curb are City maintained.

What if I do not have a sidewalk?

Typically from center of street 30’ towards your property will fall within the city right-of-way.

Will the City remove or maintain trees on private property? 

These trees are the sole responsibility of the homeowner.

What can I do about neighboring trees overhanging on my property?

The City encourages the neighbors to work together to alleviate the hazard or concern. The City has no jurisdiction on private property, except for diseased elm trees.
