Please join us for the 2026 Memorial Day Ceremony on Friday, May 22 at 9 a.m. at the Southfield Municipal Campus, City Council Chambers, 26000 Evergreen Road.

This annual ceremony brings the community together in remembrance and gratitude for the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

The ceremony will feature remarks and tributes honoring those who have served, including a keynote address by Matthew Daigler, PMP, Program Director of Detroit Veteran Village with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Attendees will also take part in traditional elements of remembrance, including a moment of silence, wreath placement, and the playing of Taps.

Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in this meaningful community observance. Refreshments will be provided immediately following the ceremony.
