The City of Southfield always welcomes new residents! As such, the City is often able to sell vacant city-owned parcels at a discount to encourage the building of new homes. The city-owned vacant parcels currently available for sale are listed below. The Southfield City Council must approve all sales of real property, including the sale price. The prices listed should not be considered the final price. However, they are the prices that will be recommended to City Council. The prices listed is based on the new owner erecting a new residence on the lot. Offers to purchase a vacant lot for other purposes such as enlarging a neighboring lot will be considered, but the price will be considerably higher.
