Southfield Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the return of a community favorite — now reimagined as the Soulful Santa Workshop & Holiday Market on Saturday, December 13, inside the Southfield Pavilion. The event will offer families a festive day filled with creativity, shopping, and holiday cheer. The Holiday market will be open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., while the Soulful Santa workshop will be open from 12-3 p.m.

During the event, families can enjoy a professional photo opportunity with Black Santa, meet costumed characters, and get hands-on at the Elf Workshop Stations, including an ornament creation station, a Christmas card station, a Do-it-yourself gift station and a letters to Santa station.  Guests can also warm up at the Hot Cocoa Bar and visit the baked goods vendor, then explore the Holiday Market, perfect for picking up unique gifts or letting little elves shop on their own.

Tickets are $10 for Southfield residents and $13 for non-residents. All attendees ages 2 and up must have a ticket, and one adult must accompany each family. Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Southfield Parks & Recreation Information Desk (26000 Evergreen Road) or online at bit.ly/SoulfulSantaWorkshop. Tickets will also be available at the door, as space allows.
