Transition will be seamless for customers with no action required

The city of Southfield Water & Sewer Department will migrate to a new water billing system beginning on Monday, November 8, 2021. This transition will be seamless for water customers; however, online payment will not be available November 3-15, 2021.

The new system will allow City of Southfield residents and businesses easy access to information regarding their water bills and a quick and convenient way to pay bills online. No late payment penalties will be imposed until after December 13, 2021, and all water bills will remain on the same payment cycle.
