Due to the extreme heat forecast and ongoing limitations with the municipal building's air conditioning system, City Hall and the following facilities will close at 12:00 p.m. today:

• Municipal Building (City Hall)
• Parks & Recreation Building
• Public Service Building (Muddy Boots)

These buildings share the same air conditioning system. Currently, one of the two chillers that provides cooling is out of service, limiting the system's ability to keep the buildings at comfortable temperatures during periods of extreme heat.

To protect the health and safety of employees and visitors, the decision has been made to close the buildings at noon today.

Our Facilities team is actively working to address the issue, and a long-term replacement of the air conditioning system is already underway. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this situation.
