Residents who utilize services through the Oakland County Michigan Works! (OCMW) Southfield location are advised that the center will permanently close effective June 30, 2026.
According to Oakland County Michigan Works!, services will continue uninterrupted as the organization prepares to open a new workforce development center in southern Oakland County later this year. Current program participants will be transitioned to another Oakland County Michigan Works! location prior to July 1, 2026.
New customers seeking employment, training, career counseling, or workforce development services are encouraged to visit one of the organization's remaining service centers:
- Novi – 31186 Beck Road, Novi
- Oak Park – 22180 Parklawn Street, Oak Park
- Pontiac – 1850 N. Perry Street, Pontiac
- Troy – 550 Stephenson Highway, Suite 400, Troy
- Waterford – 7500 Highland Road, Waterford
