Southfield Alphas to Host Community Blood Drive at Southfield Public Library
May 11, 2026
The Southfield Alphas will host a community blood drive on Monday, June 1, at the Southfield Public Library as part of the organization’s continued commitment to service and community health.
Residents are encouraged to donate blood to help support local hospitals and patients in need. The event comes ahead of World Blood Donor Day on June 14, which helps raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and the ongoing need for safe blood supplies.
The June 1 event marks the Southfield Alphas’ third blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross. Earlier this year, the organization hosted a successful blood drive in recognition of Black History Month and continues to support programs focused on health, mentorship and community service throughout Southfield.
