The City of Southfield is pleased to welcome Culver’s, the beloved Midwestern restaurant chain known for its ButterBurgers and fresh frozen custard, to the community with a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday October 30 at 11 a.m. The Southfield Culvers is located at 29970 Southfield Road, just north of 12 Mile Road. The event is open to the public.

During the event, the City’s Business & Economic Development Department, elected officials, and community leaders will join franchise owners and team members to commemorate the opening. Guests are invited to attend, meet the owners, and enjoy the celebration.

“We are thrilled to welcome Culver’s to Southfield,” said City of Southfield Mayor Kenson Siver. “This project represents another exciting investment in our city’s dining and retail landscape, bringing new jobs, great food, and family-friendly gathering spaces to our residents and visitors.”

The new Culver’s features a warm, inviting dining room, drive-thru service, and the signature hospitality that has made the brand a community favorite nationwide. The restaurant has already hired dozens of local employees and is expected to become a popular destination for both lunch and dinner crowds.

Encouraged by strong community support, Culver’s has also announced plans to begin construction on a second Southfield location along Telegraph Road, north of 12 Mile, with work expected to start in spring 2026.
