The City of Southfield and the Detroit Institute of Arts are pleased to invite you to the dedication of Goldfinch, a stunning new mural by artist Bakpak Durden, located on the Southfield Arts & Activities Building, 26000 Evergreen Road. Join us in celebrating this beautiful addition to the community and hear from the artist about their inspiration and creative process.

The mural celebration will take place at the Arts & Activities Building on Monday, October 27th at 5 PM. Remarks will begin at 5:15 in front of the mural, followed by a reception with light refreshments.

To find the celebration, use the north entrance to the Southfield Municipal Campus and the Arts & Activities building will be on your left, adjacent to the tennis courts.
