The City of Southfield will host the last Summer in the City Concert of the season featuring Drey Skonie and the Klouds on July 25 from 7-9 p.m. on the front lawn of the Southfield Municipal Campus, 26000 Evergreen Road.

Drey Skonie and the Klouds are a Detroit-based band known for their dynamic fusion of soul, funk, R&B, and house, bringing a fresh twist to vintage vibes. Lead singer Drey Skonie, began performing at age six, his solo work, including Rolling Skone, showcases his modern reinterpretations of classics, with tracks like “All Of Us/Memphis” landing in the Netflix film End of the Road. In 2023, Drey won Artist of the Year at the Motown Museum's Amplify competition, further solidifying his impact on Detroit’s music scene. The band also took home top honors for their Stevie Wonder cover in Masterpiece Sound Studios’ contest. With electrifying live shows and growing online buzz, Drey Skonie and the Klouds are crafting a legacy as torchbearers of soulful innovation
