Southfield Parks and Recreation Department will host a Spring-a-Ling event on Friday, April 8 from 4-6:30 p.m. in the Southfield Pavilion, 26000 Evergreen Road.

Southfield P&R invites the community for an afternoon filled with fun activities, including a petting zoo, magician performances, and a stilt walker that attendees can interact with from a safe distance. The springtime event will also feature family-favorite costumed characters, including “The Bunny” who will offer goodie bags packed with candy filled eggs and other craft items for children two to thirteen years of age.

Spring-a-Ling admission is $5 per person for Southfield residents and $10 per person for non-residents. Pre-register online at https://bit.ly/3CKTipE, by calling the Parks & Recreation Information Desk at (248) 796-4620 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., or in-person at the Parks & Recreation Information Desk located within the Parks & Recreation Building. All attendees must be pre-registered with a purchased ticket to enter the event area and to participate in the festivities.
