Community encouraged to view exhibition at City Hall and vote for their favorite installation online

The city of Southfield is sponsoring the 2nd annual Southfield Photo Prize competition and outdoor exhibition this summer to showcase the City’s natural and architectural beauty. Almost 200 submissions were received and initially reviewed by the Total Living Commission which selected the top 25 photos that will be on display and eligible for public voting until August 31, 2018.

The community is encouraged to visit all of the finalists which have been enlarged and placed on display June 13 – August 31 on city hall and the parks & recreation building. To vote, click on the link below or log on to www.cityofsouthfield.com and click on ‘Photo Prize 2018’ under ‘Highlights’ on the homepage. Please select your favorite photograph by clicking the circle directly next to it and then click on ‘Submit.’ You may only vote for one entry per IP address. Additional votes from the same IP address will be ineligible. The photograph that receives the most overall votes will be announced at a public exhibition in September and featured in the City’s 2019 calendar including a photo credit. The other finalists may also be featured in the calendar and other city marketing materials.
