Southfield Parks and Recreation, in partnership with sponsors McDonald’s of Michigan and Vibe Credit Union, will present the Soulful Santa Celebration on Saturday, December 9 from 12-5 p.m. in the Southfield Pavilion, 26000 Evergreen Road.  

There will be professional photo opportunities for families visiting with Black Santa as well as take home crafts with cookies and hot chocolate available to attendees. Families can do a little holiday shopping at the Black-owned Vendor Marketplace. Attendees can listen to holiday tales from the children’s storyteller or take festive pictures in the Wii Spin 360 Photobooth. Jazzy the Clown will be on hand painting faces festive and the Impulse Dance Academy dancers will also provide a holiday performance. Food will be available for purchase.
Tickets for those ages two and up are $8/Southfield resident and $10/non-resident. Children aged two and under are free. One adult must be present per family and everyone must have a ticket. Tickets are available for purchase online at this link or in person at the Parks & Recreation Information Desk at 26000 Evergreen Road. Limited tickets will also be available at the door as space allows.
