The Southfield Parks & Recreation department will offer a Tennis Free for All clinic on Saturday, May 4 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Civic Center Park Tennis Courts, 26000 Evergreen Road.

Join the Southfield Parks & Recreation department’s tennis instructors Robert Hall, Jr. and Phillip Woods for a free 90-minute tennis clinic at the Civic Center Park tennis courts. This clinic is designed for the inexperienced or beginner tennis player, but all levels of play are welcome. The clinic will cover basic strokes, forehand, backhand, serve and volley. Participants are encouraged to bring their own tennis racket. There will be a limited number of tennis rackets on hand for newcomers to try.

The Southfield Parks & Recreation department offers beginner and intermediate tennis lessons for ages four and up with options for teens and families. Lessons are offered throughout the spring and summer. Visit www.cityofsouthfield.com or pick up an Activity Guide at the Parks & Information Desk to learn more.
