Southfield Parks & Recreation to Host Bike Safety Night May 3

Southfield Parks and Recreation Department and partners will host Bike Safety Night on Wednesday, May 3 from 5-7 p.m. in the Parks & Recreation Parking Lot of the Southfield Municipal Campus, 26000 Evergreen Road.

The League of Michigan Bicyclists and the Southfield Police Department will provide bicycling safety  information and Corewell Health will supply 400 free bicycle helmets on a first-come, first-served basis. Oakland County Parks will be on site with an inflatable obstacle courses (socks required), a high ropes course, and a rock wall with bouncers. Trek Bicycle of Royal Oak will be on hand to conduct free bike checks. The event will also feature a fun and educational bike safety course to ride through.
