Southfield Mayor Siver to host Community State of the City address March 23

Mayor Ken Siver will hold a Community State of the City address on Thursday, March 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 26000 Evergreen Road.

The theme of the address will be Redevelopment Ready with a focus on commercial redevelopment projects such as the former Northland Center as well neighborhoods, housing and infrastructure improvements. The event will also include Mayor Siver’s overview of the past year as well as his vision for the coming year and beyond.  Mayor Siver delivered the 2017 State of the City address at the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting on March 20 at the Best Western Premier Hotel.  The Community State of the City address will provide residents an opportunity to hear a re-cap of the Mayor’s remarks. The event is free and open to the general public; however, seating is limited so please arrive early. A reception with light refreshments will immediately follow in the lobby of city hall.
