Southfield Goodfellows Seeks Donations to Support Local Families and Seniors This Holiday Season

The Southfield Goodfellows is seeking community support to help make the holiday season brighter for low- income families and senior citizens in Southfield and Lathrup Village.

The organization is accepting monetary donations to purchase gift cards for families and seniors, as well as clothing and gifts for children in households experiencing financial hardship. The Southfield Goodfellows is also seeking individuals and organizations to participate in its annual Gift Giving Tree program. Those interested in participating are asked to make a commitment by October 31, 2026.

The Southfield Goodfellows is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization that provides assistance through the coordinated efforts of community donors and volunteers. The organization works in partnership with the Southfield Human Services Department to identify senior citizens and families with school aged children who may need additional support during the holiday season.
