The Southfield Downtown Development Authority invites the community to its summer Greet & Eat Engagement Series on July 29 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Henry Ford Hospital  Southfield location, 16001 West Nine Mile Road.

This Greet & Eat event will feature two fan-favorite food trucks: Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Truck and The Eggroll Diva. Attendees can indulge in sweet or salty pretzels with dip from Auntie Anne’s for a quick grab-and-go treat, or choose from signature eggroll options and fries from Eggroll Diva.

The Greet & Eat Engagement Series is a lunchtime gathering that offers employees, residents, and visitors a delicious midday break featuring great food, meaningful connection, and a chance to engage with the Southfield Downtown Development Authority in a fun, casual setting.

“Providence Hospital is the largest employer in the City and it is an honor to bring this special event to their door.  Healthcare workers usually are taking care of us – so it feels really good to have a chance to take care of them,”  stated Molly LaLone, Executive Director of the Southfield Downtown Development Authority.  LaLone also notes that free lunch tickets are available to anyone who subscribes to the DDA newsletter or follows the DDA on social media.

Parking will be available in the Henry Ford Hospital overflow parking lot.  The food trucks will be in the physician’s parking lot next to the Chapel. Please note that food will be served on a first-come, first-served basis and each attendee can choose one food truck. If tickets for your first choice are no longer available when you arrive, you will be directed to the other available option, while supplies last.
