Through collaborations with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), Oakland County, Oakland Thrive, and Lawrence Technological University’s Centrepolis Accelerator, Southfield entrepreneurs gain access to expertise, funding, mentorship, and technical support that help them scale and succeed.

Southfield’s Business & Economic Development team, led by Director Rochelle Freeman and Deputy Director Sarah Mulally, is committed to more than local support. They serve as guides, helping entrepreneurs navigate the extensive regional ecosystem of resources. • Prototyping, testing, and commercialization support through Centrepolis to bring new products to market.
