NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF SOUTHFIELD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing for a Historic District Designation Request will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 6:30 P.M., Local Time, in the Council Chambers of 26000 Evergreen Road, City of Southfield, County of Oakland, Michigan, at which time and place the Southfield Historic Designation Advisory Board will consider the following request pursuant to Title V, Zoning and Planning, Chapter 50, Historic Preservation, of the Code of the City of Southfield, to wit:

PHDD20-0002 is a Historic District Designation Request of Kenson Siver to enact Historic District Designation for the McKinley School on the property located at 18330 George Washington, Sidwell Parcel 2426-226-004, on the north side of George Washington between Addison and Southfield Road, Section 26, City of Southfield, Oakland County, State of Michigan.

You are invited to attend this meeting to voice any opinion you may have.

After said Historic Designation Request is concluded, the Historic Designation Advisory Board will make a report and recommendation concerning this matter to the City Council. City Council will then make a final decision on the proposed Historic District Designation.

Written comments may be delivered to the Southfield Planning Department, 26000 Evergreen Road, P.O. Box 2055, Southfield, MI 48037-2055, prior to the Public Hearing.
