The city of Southfield and the Southfield Veterans’ Commission are seeking individuals who would like to present a tribute to a veteran of any U.S. military branch at the City’s Memorial Day Ceremony.

The city of Southfield will commemorate Memorial Day on Friday, May 24 at 9 a.m. in Southfield City Hall Council Chambers located at 26000 Evergreen Road. As part of the ceremony, the City and the Veterans’ Commission will include short remembrances or tributes to military veterans, particularly World War II, whether living or deceased to recognize their service to our country.
