The city of Southfield will sponsor the Southfield Photo Prize to showcase the many talented photographers in the area while also creating an exciting public art exhibit that the community can enjoy and participate.

The City is currently seeking qualified entries for the Southfield Photo Prize contest that will run this summer from June through August. Accepted entries will be enlarged and displayed at various locations throughout Southfield for public viewing and voting. The public will be encouraged to visit all the entries and to vote on their favorite installation. Submissions will initially be reviewed by the Total Living Commission that will select the top 20 entries that will be displayed and eligible for public voting. The photograph that receives the most overall votes will be announced at a public exhibition held in September.
