The City of Southfield Clerk's Office is seeking residents interested in serving as Election Workers for the 2026 Election Cycle.

Election Workers play a vital role in ensuring elections are conducted fairly, accurately, and efficiently. Individuals selected to serve will assist with a variety of responsibilities on Election Day, including checking in voters, helping operate voting equipment, processing ballots, and providing assistance to voters at polling locations.

The City is currently recruiting workers for the following election dates:

  • August 4, 2026 – Primary Election
  • November 3, 2026 – General Election

Election Workers receive paid training and compensation for their service. This opportunity provides valuable civic engagement experience while helping support the democratic process within the community.

Residents who are dependable, customer-service oriented, and committed to serving their community are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided to all eligible Election Workers prior to Election Day.
