City of Southfield partners with Wing Hong Restaurant for Hurricane Harvey & Irma Relief Fundraiser Sept. 17

100 percent of funds raised will be donated to those in need

The city of Southfield, in partnership with Wing Hong Restaurant, will sponsor a Hurricane Harvey and Irma relief fundraiser on Sunday, September 17 from 12-8 p.m. at Wing Hong Restaurant located at 18206 W. Ten Mile Road in Southfield.

 

“The residents of Texas and Florida are in desperate need of assistance after Hurricanes Harvey and Irma,” commented Mayor Kenson Siver. “We are proud to partner with Wing Hong Restaurant to help provide some financial support in the aftermath of these tragic disasters. Giving brings out the best in humanity and casts an infinite ripple of goodwill across the world–especially in a time of such tragedy.”

 

Wing Hong Restaurant will donate 100 percent of sales to help the victims of the recent hurricanes. Any dollar amount spent from $1 to $100, dine-in or carryout, will be donated to those in need. The restaurant will also serve a special buffet on September 17 only for $10.99. Donations will be handled by the non-profit organization Tzu Chi, an international humanitarian organization whose mission is to relieve the suffering of those in need, and create a better world for all.
