Southfield Mayor Siver and City Council adopted a joint resolution to commemorate of the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment at last evening's city council meeting. Residents are encouraged to join in celebration of this historic milestone and continue to study the women’s suffrage movement and the state of enfranchisement in the United States today.
