Land Division or Combination Submittals

The Assessing Department accepts online submissions for land division and combination requests. Beginning September 1, 2026, in-person and mailed submissions will no longer be accepted.

After submitting your request, please monitor your email for payment instructions. Review will not begin until the required fee has been paid.

Submit Your Land Division or Land Combination Request Online

Submit requests to divide or combine property through the City’s online application process. Before applying, review the application for required documentation and plot plan details, and consult the current fee schedule. Applications are reviewed in accordance with the Michigan Land Division Act, Public Act 288 of 1967, as amended, and Chapter 47, Article IV of the Southfield City Code.
