All City of Southfield offices and facilities (excluding the 46th District Court) will remain closed to the public until at least Monday, March 15, 2021 or further notice in accordance with the most recent state of Michigan public health order. All essential public safety and public works services and departments continue to function as normal. Residents can still conduct most city business online and through City Hall’s main drop box 24/7 as well as via phone during the City Hall regular business hours, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Cable 15
City Cable 15 is Southfield's award-winning municipal government channel. Programs are produced to entertain, inform and educate residents about their community and city services, policies, goals and objectives.
Cable 15 has been recognized regionally and nationally for its outstanding community programming. The station has received more than 150 awards since its inception in 1983. City Council Meetings, 15 News, concerts and special interest productions can all be found on this community-based channel.
In addition, City Cable 15 produces the following series-oriented programming: The Author's Den, featuring writers appearing at the Southfield Public Library; Business Matters, where Southfield businesses, both large and small, are spotlighted; Game of the Week, featuring local schools' sports activities and Safe & Secure, a program dedicated to Southfield's public safety departments.
