By completing the form below and clicking the Submit button, you agree to the following:

I/We do hereby state our request not to be solicited for the sale or listing for sale of the below property in any manner by persons or businesses engaging in the sale or listing for sale of property for profit or commercial gain.

This request is made in accordance with Section 1199 of the Code of Ordinances for the City of Southfield.

I understand I have the right to withdraw this request at any time by returning a signed statement of withdrawal, and that this notice does not preclude me from selling my house "by owner"; however, if my home is publicly offered for sale, this form becomes void. I also understand that this notice will expire five years from the date of submission.

When completing this form, please provide your address as recognized by the United States Post Office (USPO). Due to electronic processing most realtors use in preparing their mailing lists, the addresses must conform to the USPO’s recommended listings for this ordinance to be effective.

Residents that have submitted the Cease Real Estate Solicitation Form listing their address as recognized by the USPO who have received real estate solicitation materials in any manner may register a complaint with the City by providing the materials to the Community Relations Department. The City will notify the realtor that they cannot mail or otherwise distribute solicitation materials to this address in addition to outlining the consequences of violating this ordinance.
