Since 1983, City Cable 15 has provided Southfield residents with a unique blend of original award-winning programming related to government, education, business, news, arts and culture. 

The staff and channel has been recognized regionally and nationally for its outstanding community programming. The station has received more than 150 awards since its inception in 1983 while providing a window into Southfield government by presenting gavel-to-gavel coverage of live and recorded activities of the City Council with coverage including: public hearings, new business openings, meetings and community roundtable discussions.

In addition, City Cable 15 produces the following series-oriented programming: One on One, a public affairs interview show that spotlights the area’s movers and shakers in business, education, arts and culture; The Author's Den, featuring regional and national writers appearing at the Southfield Public Library; Business Matters, where Southfield businesses, both large and small, are profiled; Game of the Week, featuring local schools' sports program activities; Safe & Secure, a program dedicated to Southfield's public safety departments and 15 NEWS, the channel’s long-running newscast that covers the who, what, where, when and how of city events and happenings.
