The city of Southfield will host two evenings of Halloween fun with “Boo at the Burgh,” Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. at the Burgh Historical Park located on the corner of Civic Center Drive and Berg Road. New this year, a “frightless” afternoon program (geared towards younger guests eight and under) will be offered on Saturday from 2-4:30 p.m.
The family-friendly event will feature trick-or-treating through haunted walking paths, storytelling, bat exhibit, and hayrides through the haunted forest. Trick-or-Treat bags will be provided (included in ticket price) and seasonally-themed refreshments will also be available for purchase.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Southfield Parks and Recreation Information Desk, located at 26000 Evergreen Road, for $5 per person for Southfield residents; $7 per person for non-residents. Tickets will also be available at the door (cash only) for $7 per person for residents; $9 per person for non-residents. Parking will not be available at the Burgh; however, free parking and shuttle buses will be available at the First Center parking lot located at 26911 Northwestern Service Drive. All children must be accompanied by an adult and are encouraged to come in costume.
