CA-B Approval to Purchase Books and Other Library Circulating Materials from Book Wholesalers, Inc. (BWI)
Action Requested: Authorize the Southfield Public Library to purchase library books and other library circulating materials from BWI of Lexington, Kentucky, in an amount not-to-exceed $75,000 annually for a two-year period beginning July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2012

CA-C Approval to Purchase Express Lane Software for the Library’s Integrated Library System from Innovative Interfaces, Inc.
Action Requested: Approve the purchase and installation of Express Lane software for the self-check units in an amount not-to-exceed $36,600 from Innovative Interfaces, Inc.

CA-D Beech Woods Greening Project – Phase I North Parking Area Authorization to Apply for Grant Funding - Round X Grant Program Rouge River National Wet Weather Demonstration Project
Action Requested:  Authorize staff to submit an application to the Environmental Protection Agency, Rouge River National Wet Weather Demonstration Project Round X Grant Program for the Beech Woods Greening Project

CA-E Authorization for Budget Adjustment for Carpenter Lake Nature Interpretive Center
Action Requested: Authorize the transfer of $232,000 from the Parks & Recreation Undesignated Fund Balance to the Southfield Building Authority in order to advance final design and contract documents for bidding

CA-F Carpenter Lake Nature Interpretive Center Authorization to Apply for Grant Funding - Round X Grant Program Rouge River National Wet Weather Demonstration Project
Action Requested: Authorize staff to submit an application to the Environmental Protection Agency, Rouge River National Wet Weather Demonstration Project Round X Grant Program for the Carpenter Lake Nature Interpretive Center Project

CA-G Authorization to Contract for Bus Transportation Services for the Parks and Recreation Department
Action Requested: Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract with Durham School Services for the period from June 2009 through June 2011 in the annual amount of $50,000.00
