City Cable 15 receives a five percent franchise fee from Comcast and AT&T as “rent” for their use of our right-of-ways to provide cable service. The franchise fee is used to fund the city channel and we, in turn, provide local programming to cable subscribers. Our goal is to provide a broad variety of city information, meeting coverage, and shows that appeal to special interests. Our most popular shows are City Council Meetings and 15 News. Other favorites are Business Matters, Focus on Seniors, Safe & Secure and Library Programs. Whether you need information on your tax bill or tips on golf, we aim to “keep it local."
