The city of Southfield and Huntington Bank will present the Treasurer’s Financial Lecture Series on Tuesday, March 23 beginning at 6:00 p.m., in the Southfield Public Library Auditorium, 26300 Evergreen Road.
The first installment, Protecting Yourself from Identity Theft and Fraud, will run from 6 – 6:45 p.m. This lecture will help consumers to understand the different types of identity theft schemes and numerous precautionary measures they can use to protect themselves. The second installment, To Your Credit, will run from 7 – 7:45 p.m. and will focus on the importance of maintaining high credit scores, understanding credit reports, establishing, re-establishing and repairing credit.
