The city of Southfield and the Commission on Senior Adults (COSA) will host Senior (50+) Appreciation Night on Wednesday, August 20 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Burgh Historical Park, located at the corner of Civic Center Drive and Berg Road.
The event is part of a statewide initiative to celebrate the contributions of senior adults in the community. Entertainment will be provided by the Philippine American Community Center Hula Dancers as well as the Swingland Band featuring noted saxophonist George “Sax” Benson.
