The city of Southfield Human Services Department is offering summer camp and skill-building scholarships for youth from income-eligible families.
The scholarships are available for Southfield and Lathrup Village youth ages 5-17 for city of Southfield Parks & Recreation summer camps. Applications are available at the Southfield Human Services Department located in the Burgh Historical Park at 26080 Berg Road. Copies of proof of income (1040 tax return, FIA budget Letter or free/reduced lunch award letter), child’s birth certificate, immunization record and medical insurance are required with a completed application. Only two children per household are eligible. All applications and documentation must be submitted by 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21.
