(SOUTHFIELD, Mich.) – The City of Southfield will host the Entrepreneur’s Success Planning Workshop Thursday, April 10, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. inside the Southfield Public Library Auditorium, located at 26300 Evergreen Road. The program, which is part of the Southfield Treasurer’s Financial Lecture Series, will feature the theme “No One Ever Bought a Bentley Working for Someone Else,” presented by Charlene Jeter, president, Smart Business Professionals. The lecture will identify strategic business planning mechanisms such as time management and goal/resource acquisition, marketing plan development and operating on a limited budget.
Jeter teaches entrepreneurship, management, marketing and accounting courses at both Cleary University and the University of Phoenix. She earned her MBA in Marketing and Management from Wayne State University and has been an entrepreneur since 1995. The lecture is free and open to the public with light refreshments served.
