Where do your city tax dollars go? Do you have questions regarding how your city tax dollars are spent? The City of Southfield has answers! Southfield City Cable 15 has produced a special edition of ‘15 News’ entitled “Your Southfield City Tax Dollars: How They’re Spent.”
The program provides an in-depth analysis of how the City of Southfield uses your tax dollars and outlines some of the many great programs and services they fund. The segment also features remarks from Mayor Brenda Lawrence, Police Chief Joseph Thomas, Fire Chief Pete Healy, Southfield City Treasurer Irv Lowenberg and other city officials addressing how city tax money is spent. The 18-minute program will continue to play on City Cable 15 on a regular basis. It is also available free-of-charge to all Southfield residents and community groups.
