The city of Southfield recently recognized the beautification efforts of residents, neighborhoods, schools, condominiums and apartments at the annual Community Pride Awards program on October 26.
The program’s goal is to give recognition to individual homeowners, neighborhoods, condominiums and apartments that have gone the extra mile in their respective beautification efforts. Approximately 45 winners were selected from over 150 nominations through an intensive judging process. Winners were awarded plaques, certificates and yard signs to acknowledge their sustained efforts in keeping Southfield beautiful. The annual program is sponsored by Southfield’s Neighborhood and Information Center (a division of Community Relations) and the Southfield Parks and Garden Club.
