The City of Southfield Parks & Recreation Department will present Autumnfest on Saturday, September 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Mary Thompson Farm located at 25630 Evergreen Road, just south of Civic Center Drive.
Autumnfest will feature fun for the entire family, including: children’s games, petting farm, hayrides, children’s craft area, Rosco the Clown, an obstacle course, moonwalk, tours of the Mary Thompson House and Senior Gardens, Master gardener’s question & answer session, Senior Farmer’s Produce exhibit, Providence Hospital Health Fair, and entertainment by The Ban-Joes of Michigan. There will also be free hot dogs and chips and additional refreshments available for purchase including ice cream and funnel cakes.
There is no parking on site; however, parking is available in the Southfield Civic Center south parking lot (26000 Evergreen Road) with a free Shuttle Bus to the farm. Call Southfield Parks & Recreation at (248) 796-4620 for more information.
