Cable 15 has won the 2006 ‘Excellence in Government Programming’ award
from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and
Advisors (NATOA).
The award was
presented at NATOA’s 21st annual Government Programming Awards on

station’s wide variety of community programming and the high quality of
the programs. Sixteen other stations from across the country competed
for the prestigious award including Tallahassee, Florida, and
Louisville, Kentucky. Cable Manager Kathy Sherman accepted the award on
the station’s behalf.
“This award is
valued by local government channels because it is judged by our
colleagues,” said Sherman. “Government channels across the nation are
challenged to produce the best municipal programming possible and it is
a real honor to be recognized for our work.”
