The city of Southfield will host the 4th annual Small Business Conference on Friday, July 17 at 8 a.m. in the meeting room at the Southfield Public Library, 26300 Evergreen Road.
The conference will provide local businesses with an opportunity to network, share ideas and to learn more about resources that can help their businesses grow. The event will feature welcoming remarks and a conference overview provided by Mayor Brenda L. Lawrence followed by an overview of services offered by the Southfield Business Development Department, Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Oakland County Business Center, and the Southfield Public Library. Bill Springer of Focused Consulting will also present the “5C’s of Credit;” Benjamin Cunningham, CPA will present “Accounting: Transaction to Tax;” and Kirk Armstrong of Gerry Weinberg & Associates will present “How Do You Know That You Have the Right People on Your Team and in the Right Seats?”
