The new heated tees driving range at Beech Woods, a partnership between NR Golf, Inc. and the city of Southfield, is now open daily from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Beech Woods Golf Course is located at 22204 Beech Road just south of 9 Mile Road.
Beech Woods Golf Course is a beautiful 2,778 yard, par 34 course that includes a 50-tee (27 heated), lighted driving range and a PGA Professional on staff. A fully stocked pro shop and private or group golf lessons are also available. The fees for the heated tees are $6 for a small bucket of golf balls; $8 for a medium bucket; or $10 for a large bucket. The driving range is open daily from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. in the winter (weather permitting) and from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. in the summer.
Residents and those employed in Southfield (who have purchased a Business Leisure Card) may purchase a Golf Call-In Card for $20, entitling them to reserve tee times by phone. Business Leisure Cards are available to all full-time employees who work in the city of Southfield. With the Business Leisure Card, holders are entitled to use Southfield recreation facilities at resident rates. Cards are $30 per person; each additional family member is $3. Cards must be purchased in person at the Parks & Recreation building at 26000 Evergreen Road.
