Southfield City
Administrator Dale E. Iman submitted a letter of resignation to the
Southfield City Council on Friday, October 13 to accept a position as
City Manager in Fayetteville, North Carolina. His last day of
employment will be November 12.
Deputy City
Administrator/Fiscal Services Director Jim Scharret will serve as
interim City Administrator. Mr. Scharret has been with the City for
more than 30 years and was appointed Director of Management and Budget
in 1982. He assumed the expanded duties of Deputy City Administrator in
November of 2004.
