Community Pride Award winners

The city of Southfield will recognize the beautification efforts of residents, neighborhoods, schools, condominiums and apartments through the Community Pride Awards program on Monday, October 30, at 6:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers.

The program’s goal is to give recognition to homeowners, neighborhoods, condominiums and apartments that have gone the extra mile in their respective beautification efforts. This year’s program will be cablecast live by City Cable 15 beginning at 6:00 p.m., with replay dates to follow throughout November on Mondays and Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

Winners were selected through an intensive nomination and judging process and will be awarded plaques, certificates and yard signs to acknowledge their sustained efforts in making Southfield an ideal place to live, work and play. The annual program is sponsored by Southfield’s Neighborhood and Information Center (a division of Community Relations) and the Southfield Parks and Garden Club.
